The predicted salary is between 30000 - 40000 £ per year.

Multiple full-time positions available across the North Down area at 42.5 hours per week. Availability to cover morning, evening & weekend shifts within the hours of 6:00am – midnight, Monday to Sunday, with a degree of flexibility required.

A look into the role:

  • Reporting to the Assistant Manager and/or Store Manager you will help to lead the store team to provide a shopping experience that exceeds our customers’ expectations and makes a difference in the local community.
  • Alongside the Assistant Manager and/or Store Manager guide the store team to follow store policies, standards and practices.
  • Take responsibility for the store in the absence of other leaders (includes keyholder responsibility).
  • Be a positive role model to the team and represent our values of Ambition, Customer First, Teamwork and Integrity.
  • Train, manage the workload and support your team, whilst being hands on in store – ensuring you work together to achieve the right resources in the right place at the right time to deliver the best customer experience.
  • Support the Store Manager to maximise store performance which includes understanding and implementing the store plan and priorities.
  • Alongside the store team, actively promote and get involved in initiatives to support the local community.
  • Cover the Post Office when required as part of this role.

Skills for Success:

  • You must be aged 18 years or over (for store legislative requirements) along with previous store retail experience, of which at least 6 months have been at a supervisory level leading a team of people in a customer‑focused environment.
  • A natural ability to listen, interact and communicate with customers and team members.
  • Target‑driven to help the store achieve their business plans/priorities and focused on continuous improvement.
  • Be able to inspire everyone to do their best for each other and the customer.
