A look into the role: The Deli team delivers breakfast, lunch and coffee on the go while ensuring a clean, welcoming environment. You will help prepare food, serve customers, maintain hygiene standards and support a collaborative team.
Responsibilities:
- Listen to and understand customers’ needs and advise them about products and services.
- Provide first‑class service to all customers.
- Prepare, cook and bake goods in compliance with food safety regulations.
- Keep prep areas and counters clean and tidy, including kitchen porter and production kitchen duties.
- Work as part of the team to ensure all counters – SPAR Bakery and Daily Deli remain fresh and appetising.
- Undertake other duties as required for the role.
Skills for Success:
- No previous retail or foodservice experience required – training will be provided.
- Positive attitude, teamwork, passion and energy to make customers smile and deliver a great experience.
