We’re looking for a special candidate who will lead our hard-working and friendly team, making it all happen - from preparing delicious food, delivering first class customer service, or maintaining great hygiene standards. You will also work closely with the store management team to help develop and grow SUBWAY®, and deliver key targets including sales and profitability.

As SUBWAY® Manager you will:
- Provide a first class service to all of our customers.
- Allocate work duties to other members of the Subway team to ensure all duties are covered and to maintain a high quality service at all times.
- Exercise and enforce constant watch over Health & Safety, Security, Discipline and Due Diligence.
- Carry out food safety control checks in all areas to ensure all standards are being maintained and recorded.
- Ensure stock is displayed in the correct position to attract sales, the correct price is displayed and waste recording procedure is being followed.
- Prepare and cook all food in line with company procedure and Health and Safety regulations.
- Ensure a high standard of cleanliness in the SUBWAY® Department (front and back) is maintained at all times.
- Be accountable for the enforcement of all legislative demands/standards of fire, health, hygiene and safety and these conditions are strictly adhered to.
- Undertake other duties as required for the role.
Skills for Success
A passion for food… with a proven track record for delivering a fantastic customer experience in a similar role. You’ll have at least 1 years’ experience in a serviced food role, and you’ll see your role as a profession, helping us to develop SUBWAY® as a key destination for food on the go. You’ll have at least 6 months’ experience in leading a team. A positive attitude and a love for people…you’ll inspire and motivate your team to be the best. Creative flair and an eye for detail, ensuring that excellent presentation and standards are maintained. Knowledge of Food Safety practices and procedures- you’ll have minimum Level 2 qualification in Food Safety. Commercial Awareness, and ability to deliver on Key Performance Indicators such as sales, costs and profitability.
