About the Role
As a Stock Controller you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of stock across our warehouse operation. You will work closely with warehouse teams, sales and trading departments to maintain accurate stock levels, minimise disruption and support the effective movement of products throughout the business. You will carry out regular inventory checks, investigate discrepancies and maintain accurate daily stock records, ensuring all information is updated within our Warehouse Management System (WMS). The role includes generating and analysing stock reports, identifying opportunities to improve stock control processes and supporting operational decision‑making through inventory insights. You will also coordinate communications between warehouse and administration teams to quickly resolve stock issues impacting picking or replenishment, keeping operations running efficiently while ensuring compliance with company procedures, industry regulations and safety standards.
Requirements (Minimum Criteria)
- A minimum of 5 GCSEs including Maths and English (or equivalent)
- At least one year’s experience as a Stock Controller or in a similar role within a logistics environment
- Experience using Warehouse Management Systems for inventory tracking and management
- Competent in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Outlook, Excel)
