Delish Deli Manager - Henderson Group

£14.63 per hour & benefits.

Working hours: 37.5 hours per week, 6:00am to 5:00pm, Monday to Sunday with flexibility.

Responsibilities

  • Provide first class customer service at the deli counter.
  • Allocate work duties to team members to ensure coverage and quality service.
  • Exercise and enforce constant watch over Health & Safety, Security, Discipline and Due Diligence.
  • Carry out food safety control checks in all areas to ensure all standards are being maintained and recorded.
  • Ensure stock is displayed in the correct position to attract sales, the correct price is displayed and waste recording procedure is being followed.
  • Prepare and cook all food in line with company procedure and Health and Safety regulations.
  • Ensure a high standard of cleanliness in the Delish Deli Department (front and back) is maintained at all times.
  • Be accountable for the enforcement of all legislative demands/standards of fire, health, hygiene and safety and these conditions are strictly adhered to.
  • Undertake other duties as required for the role.

Skills for Success

  • Minimum 1 year experience in a serviced food role with strong customer experience track record.
  • Minimum 6 months experience leading a team.
  • Positive attitude and ability to inspire and motivate staff.
  • Creative flair and eye for detail, ensuring excellent presentation and standards are maintained.
  • Knowledge of Food Safety practices and procedures – minimum Level 2 qualification in Food Safety.
  • Commercial awareness and ability to deliver on key performance indicators such as sales, costs and profitability.
