Join Our Team as a Warehouse Operative, working within our frozen warehouse! Are you looking for a dynamic and fast-paced role where you can make a real impact? We’re hiring Warehouse Operatives to join our growing team!

What You’ll Do:

  • Order Picking: Order picking of various products inclusive of heavy items into cages by customer using a voice picking methodology.
  • Manual Handling: Operating machinery needed for assembly. Pushing cages and lifting weights up to 25kg using the correct technique to avoid injury.
  • Labelling & Documentation: Applying labels and barcodes, completing relevant paperwork.
  • Maintaining Warehouse Standards: Keeping the warehouse clean, organised, and free from hazards.
  • Following Safety Procedures: Adhering to health and safety guidelines to prevent accidents.
  • Collaborating with Team Members: Working efficiently with colleagues to meet production targets.

This role is based in our Frozen section, so you’ll need to work in very cold conditions- Don’t worry though, we provide nice warm freezer suits, and you’ll have access to a heat room!

Earning Potential: Hourly rate starts at £15.61 per hour, increasing to at least £17.26 if you achieve 100%+ performance. The average performance in this department is 110%.

What we’re looking for:

  • Previous experience of working in a fast-paced warehouse or production environment (At least 6 months)
  • A can-do attitude and willingness to learn
  • Proven ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • A positive, team-focused approach to work
  • As this is a nightshift role, applicants must be aged 18 or over to comply with legislative requirements

It is desirable if you have:

  • Experience of warehouse management systems
  • Experience of working in a variety of temperature-controlled environments
  • Pick Truck trained (LLOP valid licence or equivalent i.e. Stand-on or forklift trained)
  • Manual handling trained
  • Experience in the voice picking procedure within a warehouse.

Hours of Work: We have a number of full-time opportunities available, working Sunday-Thursday, from 6pm-2am (Job to Finish).
