Company: Henderson Foodservice – Frozen Warehouse. Location: Newtownabbey / Mallusk. Pay: £15.61‑£17.26 per hour. Hours: 38 per week, Sunday‑Thursday, 6pm‑2am.

A look into the role: Join our growing team as a Warehouse Operative in our frozen warehouse. It’s a dynamic, fast‑paced role with real impact. You will work in very cold conditions, but we provide warm freezer suits and a heat room for comfort.

What You’ll Do:

  • Order picking of various products, including heavy items, into cages using a voice picking methodology.
  • Manual handling and operating assembly machinery; push cages and lift weights up to 25 kg with correct technique.
  • Labelling and documentation – apply labels, barcodes and complete relevant paperwork.
  • Maintain warehouse standards – keep the warehouse clean, organised and hazard‑free.
  • Follow safety procedures – adhere to health and safety guidelines to prevent accidents.
  • Collaborate with team members – work efficiently with colleagues to meet production targets.

Earning Potential: Hourly rate starts at £15.61, increasing to at least £17.26 with 100%+ performance. The average performance in this department is 110% (correct at the time of posting).

What we’re looking for:

  • Previous experience of working in a fast‑paced warehouse or production environment (at least 6 months).
  • A can‑do attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Proven ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
  • A positive, team‑focused approach to work.

As this is a night shift role, applicants must be aged 18 or over to comply with legislative requirements.

Desirable skills:

  • Experience with warehouse management systems.
  • Experience working in temperature‑controlled environments.
  • Pick Truck trained – LLOP licence or equivalent (stand‑on or forklift).
  • Manual handling trained.
  • Experience with voice picking procedures.
