Procurement Administrator – Trading
Location: Newtownabbey, Northern Ireland, United Kingdom
Hours: 36.5 hours per week, 9:00am‑5:00pm Monday‑Thursday, 9:00am‑4:00pm Friday; hybrid and flexible arrangement available.
Henderson Food Service is the leading supplier to the food service industry in Ireland, providing hotels, restaurants, hospitals and offices with a wide range of products.
We are looking for a motivated, detail‑oriented individual to join as a Procurement Administrator, ensuring accurate product and customer data feeds into external ordering platforms and supporting our customers’ menu management.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and update accurate customer and product data across external platforms.
- Onboard new customers, configuring data to meet platform and customer needs.
- Generate and analyse reports on customer purchasing behaviour to drive sales growth and improve engagement.
- Collaborate with sales teams to review customer baskets, identify gaps and opportunities, and support market‑share initiatives.
- Act as liaison between internal teams and customers to resolve data‑related issues and ensure a seamless procurement experience.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of platform processes and data workflows, identifying automation opportunities.
Key Skills
- GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
- Minimum 12 months’ administration experience.
- Experience handling customer data in compliance with GDPR.
- Understanding of product data in a business context.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

- Knowledge of Procure Wizard.

- Experience with customer pricing or product data in a commercial setting.
- Understanding of invoice and credit processing.
