A look into the role
Our Deli’s are a convenient place for our customers to stop for breakfast, lunch or great coffee on the go. Your hard‑working and friendly team will make it all happen – from preparing delicious food to delivering first‑class customer service at the deli counter, and maintaining great hygiene standards by keeping the prep and service areas clean.
As a Deli Team Member you will:
- Listen to and understand our customers’ needs and advise customers about our products and services.
- Provide a first‑class service to all customers.
- Prepare, cook and bake goods, working within food safety regulations.
- Keep prep areas and counters clean and tidy, including kitchen porter and production kitchen duties.
- Work as part of a team to ensure all counters – SPAR Bakery and deli remain fresh and appetizing for our customers.
- Undertake other duties as required for the role.
Skills for Success
No previous retail or foodservice experience is required – we’ll provide all the right training. We are looking for team members with personality, passion, energy and a positive attitude who can make our customers smile and provide the very best experience.
