A look into the role: Our Deli’s are a convenient place for our customers to stop for breakfast, lunch or great coffee on the go. Our hard‑working and friendly team make it all happen—from preparing delicious food, delivering first class customer service at the deli counter, or maintaining great hygiene standards by keeping the prep and service areas clean. As Daily Deli Team Member you will:
- Listen to and understand our customers’ needs and advise customers about our products and services.
- Provide a first class service to all of our customers.
- Prepare, cook and bake goods, working within food safety regulations.
- Keep prep areas and counters clean and tidy, including kitchen porter and production kitchen duties.
- Work as part of a team to ensure all counters—SPAR Bakery and Daily deli remain fresh and appetising for our customers.
- Undertake other duties as required for the role.
Skills for Success: Don’t worry if you have no previous retail or foodservice experience—we’ll provide you with all the right training.
