What You'll Need to Succeed:

Essential Criteria:

  • Hold a valid, in date Category C licence
  • Possess a valid, in date Driver Qualification Card (CPC up to date)
  • Possess a Digital Tachograph Card
  • Have a good knowledge of the Northern Ireland road network
  • Able to deliver outstanding Customer Service

Desirable Criteria:

  • Relevant Class 2 driving experience
  • Multi-drop delivery/collection experience
  • A good knowledge of vehicle refrigeration
  • A good knowledge of tail lift operation
  • Able to demonstrate an understanding of good manual handling procedures
  • Knowledge of and ability to comply with Driving Regulations and Working Time Legislation

Hours and days of work:

The successful candidate will be offered a core contract of 38 hours per week, 5 days out of 7 (Tuesday to Saturday), on a job-and-finish basis. Overtime may be required in line with business needs, including a sixth working day (Monday) on a rotational basis of at least one in four weeks. Our drivers enjoy flexibility in their start times, typically between 4am and 5am. You'll have the independence to plan your departure from the depot in a way that suits you, as long as customer deliveries are completed efficiently and to our high service standards.
