We source and supply a range of thousands of products to customers including hotels, restaurants, and public sector organisations such as hospitals and offices. Theres plenty of great reasons why you should join the driving team at Henderson Foodservice. This role involves working from our Foodservice depot in Mallusk, delivering frozen food products to the Foodservice sector throughout Northern Ireland. Reporting to the Transport Supervisor, the successful applicant will be responsible for providing a superior quality delivery service. Main duties include: Loading and securing of all goods at the depot; Ensuring all documentation is correct prior to departing from depot; Delivering the goods in first class condition to the agreed location; Ensuring the appropriate delivery documentation is signed. Collecting and documenting all product returns Maintenance of the lorry (including vehicle hygiene plus daily water/oil/fuel checks), Cage control and accountability. The role involves a significant amount of manual handling, specifically pushing, pulling and lifting heavy loads. What Youll Need to Succeed: Essential Criteria: Hold a current LGV Group C licence Possess a Driver Qualification Card Possess a Digital Tachograph Card Have a good knowledge of the Northern Ireland road network Desirable Criteria: Driving experience Multi-drop delivery experience A good knowledge of vehicle refrigeration A good knowledge of tail lift operation Applicants should note that based on the response, the Company may increase the shortlisting criteria. Hours and days of work: The successful applicants will have a core contract of 38 hours per week, 5 days out of 7 – job to finish and overtime as required. Working on a 6th day every two weeks is also a requirement for this role. Shift pattern: Start times from 12 noon daily, with the exception of Fridays which are a 7am start. Flexibility is required with regards to hours of work. Earnings potential: Our Drivers are paid for every hour worked through a performance bonus scheme. After training, you can potentially earn £36k OTE gross upwards per annum. The selection process: Please be advised that we do not accept paper application forms.
