Earning Potential:

As a Driver you will receive a competitive hourly rate plus pay for every hour worked. A performance‑related bonus scheme allows you to boost earnings through tasks such as cage returns, lorry refuelling, and other operational duties. Enhanced pay is offered for overtime, premium rates for sixth‑day working, and generous pay enhancements for bank holiday shifts. After full training you could earn £38,000+ OTE gross per year, with real potential to earn more through consistent performance and additional hours.

Main Duties:

  • Loading and securing all goods at the depot
  • Ensuring all documentation is correct before departing the depot
  • Delivering goods in first‑class condition to the agreed location
  • Ensuring the appropriate delivery documentation is signed
  • Collecting and documenting all product returns
  • Maintaining the lorry (including vehicle hygiene and daily water/oil/fuel checks)
  • Cage control and accountability

Essential Criteria:

  • Hold a current LGV Group C licence
  • Possess a valid, in‑date Driver Qualification Card (CPC up to date)
  • Possess a Digital Tachograph Card
  • Have good knowledge of the Northern Ireland road network
  • Be able to deliver outstanding customer service

Desirable Criteria:

  • Relevant driving experience
  • Multi‑drop delivery experience
  • Good knowledge of vehicle refrigeration
  • Good knowledge of tail lift operation

Hours and Days of Work:

The successful applicant will have a core contract of 38 hours per week, 5 days out of 7 (Monday‑Friday – job to finish) with overtime as required. Working on a 6th day every two weeks (Saturday) is also a requirement.

Shift Pattern:

Our drivers enjoy flexibility in start times, typically between 4am and 5am. You will have the independence to plan your departure from the depot in a way that suits you, as long as customer deliveries are completed efficiently and to our high service standards.
