Earning Potential:
As a Driver with us, you’ll benefit from a competitive hourly rate with pay for every hour worked, not just your basic hours. We also offer a performance-related bonus scheme, giving you the chance to boost your earnings through tasks such as cage returns, lorry refuelling, and other operational duties. We value your time and commitment, which is why we offer enhanced pay for overtime, premium rates for sixth-day working, and generous pay enhancements for bank holiday shifts. Once fully trained, you could be earning £38,000 OTE gross per year, with real potential to earn much more through consistent performance and additional hours.
Main duties include:
As a Driver, you’ll play a key role in getting essential food and supplies to customers across the region, including schools, hospitals, care homes, pubs, clubs, restaurants, cafés and a wide range of other hospitality and catering businesses. You’ll be responsible for loading and securing goods at the depot, checking all delivery paperwork before departure, and ensuring every order arrives safely, on time and in excellent condition. You’ll also obtain the correct delivery signatures, manage and record any product returns, maintain accurate cage control and complete routine vehicle checks, including fuel, oil, water and vehicle cleanliness. It’s a varied, customer-facing role where reliability, care and attention to detail really matter.
What You’ll Need to Succeed:
Essential Criteria:
- Hold a current LGV Group C licence
- Possess a valid, in date Driver Qualification Card (CPC up to date)
- Possess a Digital Tachograph Card
- Have a good knowledge of the Northern Ireland road network
- Able to deliver outstanding Customer Service
Desirable Criteria:
- Relevant driving experience
- Multi-drop delivery experience
- A good knowledge of vehicle refrigeration
- A good knowledge of tail lift operation

Hours and days of work:
The successful applicants will have a core contract of 38 hours per week, 5 days out of 7, Monday-Friday - job to finish and overtime as required. Working on a 6th day every two weeks (Saturday) is also a requirement for this role.
Shift pattern:
Our drivers enjoy flexibility in their start times, typically between 4am and 5am. You’ll have the independence to plan your departure from the depot in a way that suits you, as long as customer deliveries are completed efficiently and to our high service standards.
