Overview
Reporting to the Assistant Manager and/or Store Manager you will help to lead the store team to provide a shopping experience that exceeds our customers’ expectations and makes a difference in the local community.
Responsibilities
- Lead the store team to follow store policies, standards and practices.
- Take responsibility for the store in the absence of other leaders, including keyholder responsibility.
- Serve as a positive role model, representing our values of Ambition, Customer First, Teamwork and Integrity.
- Train, manage workload and support the team, ensuring resources are optimised for the best customer experience.
- Support the Store Manager to maximise store performance, implementing the store plan and priorities.
- Promote community initiatives and get involved in local community support.
- Cover the Post Office when required.
