Full‑time position working 30 - 37.5 hours per week, within the opening hours of the department Monday to Sunday, 6am – 6pm, with a degree of flexibility required (working 4‑5 shifts per week).

A look into the role: Our deli is a convenient place for customers to stop for breakfast, lunch or great coffee on the go. Our hard‑working and friendly team makes it all happen – preparing delicious food, delivering first‑class customer service at the deli counter and maintaining high hygiene standards by keeping the prep and service areas clean. You will be supported by a brilliant team and there are fantastic career development and progression opportunities.
As Daily Deli Team Member you will:
- Listen to and understand customers' needs and advise them about our products and services.
- Provide a first‑class service to all customers.
- Prepare, cook and bake goods, working within food safety regulations.
- Keep prep areas and counters clean and tidy, including kitchen porter and production kitchen duties.
- Work as part of a team to ensure all counters – SPAR Bakery and Daily Deli remain fresh and appetising for customers.
- Undertake other duties as required for the role.
Skills for Success: We provide training, so no prior retail or foodservice experience is required. We are looking for team members with personality, passion, energy and a positive attitude who know how to make our customers smile and provide the very best experience.
