Full‑time position working 30 - 37.5 hours per week, within the opening hours of the department Monday to Sunday, 6am – 6pm, with a degree of flexibility required (working 4‑5 shifts per week).

A look into the role: Our deli is a convenient place for customers to stop for breakfast, lunch or great coffee on the go. Our hard‑working and friendly team makes it all happen – preparing delicious food, delivering first‑class customer service at the deli counter and maintaining high hygiene standards by keeping the prep and service areas clean. As Daily Deli Team Member you will:
- Listen to and understand customers' needs and advise them about our products and services.
- Provide a first‑class service to all customers.
- Prepare, cook and bake goods, working within food safety regulations.
- Keep prep areas and counters clean and tidy, including kitchen porter and production kitchen duties.
- Work as part of a team to ensure all counters – SPAR Bakery and Daily Deli remain fresh and appetising for customers.
- Undertake other duties as required for the role.
Skills for Success: We provide training, so no prior retail or foodservice experience is required. We are looking for team members with personality, passion, energy and a positive attitude who know how to make our customers smile and provide the very best experience.
