Our Delish delis are a convenient place for our customers to stop for breakfast, lunch or great coffee on the go.
We\’re looking for a special candidate who will lead our hard-working and friendly team, making it all happen – from preparing delicious food, first class customer service at the deli counter, or maintaining great hygiene standards by keeping the prep and service areas clean. You\’ll be supported by a team of brilliant people, and there are fantastic career development and progression opportunities.
As Deli Manager you will:
• Listening to and understanding our customers\’ needs and advising customers about our products and services.
• Provide a first class service to all of our customers.
• Allocate work duties to other members of the Delish Deli team to ensure all duties are covered and to maintain a high quality service at all times.
• Exercise and enforce constant watch over Health & Safety, Security, Discipline and Due Diligence.
• Carry out food safety control checks in all areas to ensure all standards are being maintained and recorded.
• Ensure stock is displayed in the correct position to attract sales, the correct price is displayed and waste recording procedure is being followed.
• Prepare and cook all food in line with company procedure and Health and Safety regulations.
• Ensure a high standard of cleanliness in the Delish Deli Department (front and back) is maintained at all times.
• Be accountable for the enforcement of all legislative demands/standards of fire, health, hygiene and safety and these conditions are strictly adhered to.
• Undertake other duties as required for the role.
Skills for Success
• A passion for food…with a proven track record for delivering a fantastic customer experience in a similar role. You\’ll have at least 1 years\’ experience in a serviced food role, and you\’ll see your role as a profession, helping us to develop Delish Deli as a key destination for food on the go. • You\’ll have at least 6 months\’ experience in leading a team.
• A positive attitude and a love for people…you\’ll inspire and motivate your team to be the best.
• Creative flair and an eye for detail, ensuring that excellent presentation and standards are maintained.
• Knowledge of Food Safety practices and procedures- you\’ll have minimum Level 2 qualification in Food Safety.
• Commercial Awareness, and ability to deliver on Key Performance Indicators such as sales, costs and profitability.
