A look into the role: Our Deli is a convenient place for customers to stop for breakfast, lunch or coffee on the go. The team prepares delicious food, delivers first‑class service at the deli counter and maintains high hygiene standards in the prep and service areas. Support is available and there are career development and progression opportunities.

As Deli Team Member you will:

  • Listen to and understand customers’ needs, advising them about our products and services
  • Provide a first‑class service to all customers
  • Prepare, cook and bake goods, working within food safety regulations
  • Keep prep areas and counters clean and tidy, including kitchen porter and production kitchen duties
  • Work as part of a team to keep the SPAR Bakery and deli counters fresh and appetising
  • Undertake other duties as required for the role
