Delish Deli Supervisor £14.13 per hour & great benefits. Full-time position available at 42.5 hours per week, working within the hours of Monday to Sunday, 5am to 9pm, with a degree of flexibility required.

A look into the role: Our Delish delis are a convenient place for our customers to stop for breakfast, lunch or great coffee on the go. We're looking for a special candidate who will work alongside the Delish Deli Manager to lead our hard-working and friendly team, making it all happen - from preparing delicious food, first class customer service at the deli counter, or maintaining great hygiene standards by keeping the prep and service areas clean. You'll be supported by a team of brilliant people, and there are fantastic career development and progression opportunities.

As Delish Deli Supervisor you will:

  • Listen to and understand our customers' needs and advise customers about our products and services.
  • Provide a first class service to all of our customers.
  • Alongside the Delish Deli Manager, delegate work duties to other members of the Delish Deli team to ensure all duties are covered and to maintain a high quality service at all times.
  • Carry out food safety control checks in all areas to ensure all standards are being maintained and recorded.
  • Ensure stock is displayed in the correct position to attract sales, the correct price is displayed and waste recording procedure is being followed.
  • Prepare and cook all food in line with company procedure and Health and Safety regulations.
  • Ensure a high standard of cleanliness in the Delish Deli Department (front and back) is maintained at all times.
  • Undertake other duties as required for the role.

  • Previous experience in a similar role with a proven record of successfully managing teams in a food retail environment.
  • Can demonstrate skills in coaching and team motivation.
  • Have a track record of exceeding sales and profit targets.
  • Can deliver an amazing experience to customers both personally and through the team.
