Delish Deli Supervisor £14.13 per hour & great benefits. Full-time position available at 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Sunday, 5am to 8pm, with a degree of flexibility required. EUROSPAR Kilkeel, Greencastle Street - 55-55B Greencastle St, Kilkeel, Co. Down, BT34 4BH.
Our Greencastle Street store in Kilkeel will be a hub of activity, offering convenience, value and excellent customer service to our local community and visitors. The store will have an impressive range of grocery, fresh and frozen produce and includes an amazing deli and specialist butcher. The anticipated store relaunch will be in Spring 2025.

A look into the role: Our Delish delis are a convenient place for our customers to stop for breakfast, lunch or great coffee on the go. We're looking for a special candidate who will work alongside the Delish Deli Manager to lead our hard-working and friendly team, making it all happen - from preparing delicious food, first class customer service at the deli counter, or maintaining great hygiene standards by keeping the prep and service areas clean. You'll be supported by a team of brilliant people, and there are fantastic career development and progression opportunities.
As Delish Deli Supervisor you will:
- Listen to and understand our customers' needs and advise customers about our products and services.
- Provide a first class service to all of our customers.
- Alongside the Delish Deli Manager, delegate work duties to other members of the Delish Deli team to ensure all duties are covered and to maintain a high quality service at all times.
- Carry out food safety control checks in all areas to ensure all standards are being maintained and recorded.
- Ensure stock is displayed in the correct position to attract sales, the correct price is displayed and waste recording procedure is being followed.
- Prepare and cook all food in line with company procedure and Health and Safety regulations.
- Ensure a high standard of cleanliness in the Delish Deli Department (front and back) is maintained at all times.
- Undertake other duties as required for the role.
Skills for Success:
- Previous experience in a similar role with a proven record of successfully managing teams in a food retail environment.
- Can demonstrate skills in coaching and team motivation.
- Have a track record of exceeding sales and profit targets.
- Can deliver an amazing experience to customers both personally and through the team.
- A team player and an operationally confident hands-on leader.
