A look into the role:
Our Daily Delis are a convenient place for customers to stop for breakfast, lunch or great coffee on the go. We are looking for a special candidate to lead our hard‑working and friendly team, ensuring excellent food preparation, first‑class customer service and high hygiene standards.
As Deli Manager you will:
- Listen to and understand our customers’ needs and advise them about our products and services.
- Provide a first‑class service to all customers.
- Allocate work duties to other members of the Daily Deli team to ensure all duties are covered and to maintain a high quality service at all times.
- Exercise and enforce constant watch over Health and Safety.
Requirements:
- At least 1 year of experience in a serviced food role.
- At least 6 months of experience leading a team.
- Positive attitude and love for people – inspire and motivate your team.
- Creative flair and eye for detail to maintain excellent presentation and standards.
- Knowledge of Food Safety practices and procedures; minimum Level 2 qualification in Food Safety.
- Commercial awareness and ability to deliver on key performance indicators such as sales, costs and profitability.
