A look into the role
The Marketing Executive will play an integral role within Henderson Foodservice, supporting the Marketing Manager and working closely with fellow marketing colleagues to collectively plan and deliver the company’s product, customer and brand marketing plans across both Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland markets.
Working as Marketing Executive, you will:
- Execute key elements of the company’s product, customer and brand marketing plans to include:
- Marketing literature and communications;
- Sales tool kits and supporting materials;
- Supporting and delivering marketing campaigns (both online and offline);
- Content creation and writing copy for all marketing collateral, and social media;
- Execution and planning for corporate and industry events;
- Maintenance of brand standards and corporate identity across all communications mix.
Send internal communications to build strong working relationships with the sales and trading teams helping to develop integrated plans across key seasonal periods and strategic activities. Support the marketing and category teams in market research and intelligence gathering, including competitor activities to develop a strong understanding of products and customer profiles to create rich and relevant campaigns. Monitor and report on effectiveness of marketing campaigns.
Skills for Success
The minimum criteria you’ll need to be successful in this role:
- A degree in Marketing or a related qualification, or equivalent
- Significant marketing experience within a B2B or FMCG environment
- Experience in digital marketing and communications across multiple platforms
- Strong knowledge and demonstrated application of marketing principles and best practice
- Proficiency in MS Office packages and strong IT capability
- A full, valid driving licence

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to use initiative to independently deliver plans and projects
- A proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships at all levels
- A strategic mindset, with strong analytical problem solving skills and commercial awareness
It is desirable if you have:
- A professional marketing qualification
- Experience working within a hospitality environment
- Event management or coordination experience
- Previous experience working with external agencies
- Experience creating digital content, including video
- Creative, outside the box thinking
- Project planning experience
- A genuine love of food
