Responsibilities
- Listening to and understanding our customers’ needs and advising customers about our products and services.
- Providing a first class service to all customers.
- Allocating work duties to team members to ensure all duties are covered and service quality maintained.
- Enforcing constant watch over Health & Safety, Security, Discipline and Due Diligence.
- Carrying out food safety control checks in all areas to ensure standards are maintained and recorded.
- Ensuring stock is displayed correctly to attract sales, correct pricing and waste recording procedures.
- Preparing and cooking all food in line with company procedure and Health & Safety regulations.
- Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness in the Daily Deli Department (front and back) at all times.
- Enforcing all legislative demands/standards of fire, health, hygiene and safety strictly.
- Undertaking other duties as required for the role.
Qualifications & Experience
- At least 1 year’s experience in a serviced food role, delivering a fantastic customer experience.
- At least 6 months’ experience in leading a team.
- Positive attitude and love for people, inspiring and motivating the team.
- Creative flair and eye for detail, ensuring excellent presentation and standards.
- Knowledge of Food Safety practices and procedures with minimum Level 2 qualification in Food Safety.
- Commercial Awareness, ability to deliver on Key Performance Indicators such as sales, costs and profitability.
