A look into the role
Working alongside our retail operations team, commercial team and loss prevention colleagues, you will:
- Process, maintain and record redeemable coupons for retail stores, returning to designated suppliers within the designated time.
- Deal with queries from retail stores, suppliers, and internal departments regarding the effective and accurate processing/redemption of coupons.
- Liaise with retail stores to request information and assist in completion of fuel loss queries.
- Complete written correspondence with the DVLA to follow up on fuel loss from retail stores.
- Input data and information into the computer database.
- Maintain and update files on system to ensure they are up to date and compliant.
- File information in adherence to data protection regulations and procedures.
- Perform administrative duties including answering calls, dealing with queries and taking messages, taking customer payments on SAGE, scanning, photocopying, filing and document management (paper and online systems).
Skills for Success
Joining us as an Administrative Assistant the minimum criteria you’ll need is:
- A good standard of education, including GCSE Maths and English at Grade C or above, or equivalent.
- Strong working knowledge of MS Office, particularly Word and Excel.
The attributes you’ll need include:
- Ability to complete work accurately and on time, with excellent organisational skills.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with attention to detail.
It is desirable if you have:
- Previous experience working in an office/administrative role.
- An understanding of GDPR (Data Protection Regulations).
