As a Driver with us, you’ll benefit from a competitive hourly rate with pay for every hour worked, not just your basic hours. We also offer a performance related bonus scheme, giving you the chance to boost your earnings through tasks such as cage returns, lorry refuelling, and other operational duties. We value your time and commitment, which is why we offer enhanced pay for overtime, premium rates for sixth-day working, and generous pay enhancements for bank holiday shifts. Once fully trained, you could be earning £36,000 plus OTE gross per year, with real potential to earn much more through consistent performance and additional hours.

Responsibilities

  • Loading and securing of all goods at the depot.
  • Ensuring all documentation is correct prior to departing from depot.
  • Delivering the goods in first class condition to the agreed location.
  • Ensuring the appropriate delivery documentation is signed.
  • Collecting and documenting all product returns
  • Maintenance of the lorry (including vehicle hygiene plus daily water/oil/fuel checks),
  • Cage control and accountability.
  • The role involves a significant amount of manual handling, specifically pushing, pulling and lifting heavy loads.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Hold a current LGV Group C licence.
  • Possess a valid, in date Driver Qualification Card (CPC up to date).
  • Possess a Digital Tachograph Card.
  • Have a good knowledge of the Northern Ireland road network.
  • Relevant driving experience.
  • A good knowledge of vehicle refrigeration.
  • A good knowledge of tail lift operation.
