The Technical Pre-Sales Consultant plays a vital role in creating, managing, and delivering high-quality content that empowers pre-sales teams to deliver exceptional solution demonstrations. This position ensures that consultants have the best possible resources, tools, and materials to communicate value effectively and confidently. The team also contributes to new product releases, testing, and provides guidance to functions such as Product, Engineering, Customer Success, Marketing, and Sales Enablement.

The FP&A Technical Pre-Sales Consultant provides the infrastructure and centralised support needed to enable global growth, reinforce sales efforts, and ensure consistent solution messaging across markets.
What you will do
In your role as a Technical Pre-Sales Consultant – FP&A, you will act as the bridge between customers and the wider team of solution consultants. You will:
- Translate complex technology into persona-driven demonstration content.
- Create accessible and engaging demo materials for new releases, including click-path scripts, videos, and presentations.
- Review and refine demo systems to ensure scenarios contain accurate and relevant data.
- Maintain the global demo repository, enabling consultants to deliver ready-to-use demonstrations or adapt existing content for tailored sessions.
- Build customer-specific Proof of Concept models to showcase tangible business value.
- Support the wider pre-sales organisation with relevant integration points to connected solutions.
- Ensure demo scenarios and data are available across all priority regions, highlighting value for Professional Services, Public Sector, and Not-for-Profit organisations.
- Educate the pre-sales community on demonstration best practices, messaging, and tone.
- Manage RFI, RFP, and security response processes, as well as client workshops and technical meetings.
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Product Management, Security, Customer Success, Legal, and Marketing.
- Align technical positioning with the broader account strategy and value proposition.
- Develop and standardise thought leadership and content around key technical topics.
- Anticipate and address customer or industry-specific technical challenges with clarity and expertise.
