HD Tech are recruiting for a Quality Lead / Quality Inspector to join a busy and growing manufacturing business. This is a key role for someone with strong quality, compliance and manufacturing experience who can support operational teams in maintaining high standards across materials, processes, documentation and finished products. The successful candidate will work closely with Team Leaders, Production, Technical and Engineering teams to ensure that quality standards are embedded into day-to-day operations and that the business continues to meet relevant industry and customer requirements.
Key responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with relevant quality standards, including ISO 9001, BS EN standards, PAS 24 certification requirements, CE marking and other applicable quality frameworks.
- Lead the implementation, maintenance and continuous improvement of quality control procedures across all stages of the manufacturing process.
- Carry out regular inspections and audits of raw materials, production processes and finished products.
- Develop, maintain and update quality documentation, including SOPs, work instructions, inspection records and quality reports.
- Ensure non-conforming materials or products are correctly identified and managed.
