Henderson Drake is working with a Diamond level OneStream partner consulting firm, looking for a candidate for the OneStream Consolidation Lead position.
Consolidation projects expose the gap between theory and reality faster than almost any other EPM workstream. Multi-GAAP requirements, minority interests, shifting entity hierarchies, the kind of complexity that doesn't show up until you're three months into a build. This role is for someone who's been through that process enough times to lead it with confidence, from initial design through to a clean go-live.
You'll be working across a portfolio of consolidation and close engagements, taking ownership of delivery while managing both your project team and the client relationship day to day. It's a role that sits comfortably at the intersection of technical accounting and platform delivery, where credibility comes from being able to speak to both with equal authority.
What you will be doing:
- Lead consolidation and close transformation projects from design through go-live
- Oversee end-to-end implementations on OneStream
- Resolve complex consolidation issues including multi-GAAP reporting, minority interests, and intricate entity hierarchies
- Manage project teams, ensuring delivery stays on track and to a high technical standard
- Act as the primary point of contact for client stakeholders throughout the engagement
- Translate accounting requirements into practical system design decisions
- Support clients through testing, validation, and the transition to business-as-usual
What you will bring:
- A recognised finance qualification with strong technical accounting knowledge
- Proven experience leading consolidation and close projects end to end
- Confidence managing both delivery teams and client relationships simultaneously
- A track record of resolving genuinely complex consolidation scenarios, not just standard builds
- Hands-on experience overseeing OneStream implementations, or a comparable EPM platform
Why this opportunity:
- Ownership of full project lifecycles rather than a narrow slice of delivery
- Exposure to complex, high-value consolidation challenges across the UK
- Direct client relationships, with genuine influence over project outcomes
- A platform specialism that remains in high demand as consolidation and close processes continue to modernise
