We’re seeking a talented Graphic Design Manager to lead and deliver outstanding creative across our brand portfolio. Reporting to the Head of Creative, this role will be pivotal in managing the day-to-day output of the design studio, overseeing a small team, and delivering high-impact visual communications aligned with brand goals and customer expectations.
You will be a strategic thinker with hands-on design capabilities, responsible for elevating the visual identity of all three brands across digital, print and campaign. You’ll balance concept development with execution, ensuring consistent and innovative creative delivery.
Key Responsibilities- Creative Leadership
- Lead on the development and delivery of design concepts across all platforms and touchpoints.
- Translate brand strategy into powerful creative assets that drive customer engagement and conversion.
- Implement and uphold existing brand guidelines to ensure consistency across all design outputs.
- Line-manage and support team members, helping to grow their skills and performance.
- Manage and prioritise incoming design briefs from cross-functional teams including Marketing, eCommerce and Product Design.
- Collaborate with the Head of Creative on workload planning and project timelines.
- Execute high-quality design work across web, social, print, POS, eCRM, packaging, trade materials, and marketing campaigns.
- Partner with Marketing, eCommerce and Studio Photography teams to produce engaging, brand-right visuals.
- Support with campaign art direction, styling and on-set decisions for shoots where needed.
- Manage streamlined processes and tools to ensure workflow efficiently.
- Support with resource planning and reporting on team performance and output.
- Essential:
- 5+ years of Graphic Design experience, with at least 1-2 years in a senior or team leadership role.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating brand identity, campaign development, digital assets and multi-channel creative.
- High proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign; After Effects or Premiere Pro desirable).
- Strong understanding of layout, typography, photography, colour theory and composition.
- Experience in managing and mentoring designers or creatives.
- Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven experience working to tight deadlines with high attention to detail.
- Understanding of UX/UI principles and eCommerce design best practices.
- Collaborative team player with excellent communication skills.
- Experience working in the home decor, interiors, fashion or lifestyle sector.
- Experience using PM tools (Trello, Asana etc).
- Experience working with printers, suppliers or production teams.
- Knowledge of HTML/CSS for email or web is a plus.
