We're partnering with a market-leading food manufacturer looking for an experienced QA Manager to drive quality performance across a busy manufacturing site. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a high-performing Quality Assurance team, champion continuous improvement, and ensure products consistently exceed customer, retailer, and regulatory expectations.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Lead, coach, and develop the Quality Assurance team, creating a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement.
  • Drive site compliance by managing HACCP systems, CCP verification, quality standards, testing programmes, and due diligence documentation.
  • Support and lead customer, retailer, BRCGS, and third-party audits, ensuring the site remains audit-ready and delivers outstanding results.
  • Analyse quality data, laboratory results, customer complaints, and KPI trends to identify improvement opportunities and implement robust corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with Production, Technical, Engineering, and Supplier Assurance teams to enhance product quality, resolve non-conformances, and improve manufacturing performance.
  • Manage process deviations, concessions, calibration programmes, validation schedules, and environmental monitoring to ensure food safety excellence.
  • Lead internal audits, support technical projects, and deputise for the Technical Manager, providing strong leadership across the technical function.
  • Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and service providers to drive compliance, operational excellence, and continuous quality improvement.

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven experience in a QA or Quality Management role within food manufacturing or FMCG.
  • Strong knowledge of HACCP, GMP, food safety legislation, retailer standards, and quality management systems.
  • Experience preparing for and leading customer, retailer, and third-party audits (BRCGS experience highly desirable).
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to coach, motivate, and develop high-performing teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience investigating customer complaints, quality trends, and root cause analysis.
  • Full UK working rights are required. No sponsorship or visas available.
