Are you a seasoned Mechanical Technician within the FMCG space? If so, this opportunity might be perfect for you! We are currently seeking an individual with time served maintenance skills to join a renowned manufacturing company near to Wombourne, Staffordshire.
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on production machinery and site equipment.
- Respond to breakdowns and mechanical faults to minimise production downtime.
- Diagnose mechanical faults using systematic fault-finding techniques.
- Repair, replace and maintain bearings, belts, chains, gears, pumps, valves, seals and drive systems.
- Work on conveyors, mixers, ovens, packaging machinery, fillers, dosing systems and processing equipment.
- Carry out planned corrective maintenance identified through inspections and condition monitoring.
- Complete mechanical installations, modifications and machine improvements.
- Assist with CAPEX and engineering projects, including installation and commissioning of new machinery.
- Perform equipment inspections and identify potential failures before they affect production..
Requirements Mechanical Technician
- Previous experience in the FMCG sector.
- Basic Electrical knowledge is highly desirable.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Commutable distance from near to Wombourne, Staffordshire.
