Reporting to: Head of Sustainability & Strategy Deployment

About the Role:

Our client is a leading global food and beverage company, with a vast portfolio of iconic brands. They operate across all international markets, reaching over 200 million households, and are driven by a purpose to create products and systems that are better for people and the planet.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the execution and evolution of the products’ global sustainability and ESG strategy
  • Deliver sustainability initiatives aligned to 'Better Sourcing'
  • Drive progress towards 100% renewable, recyclable or compostable packaging by 2030
  • Sustainable Sourcing & Partnerships:
    • Work closely with sourcing teams to define and implement a sustainable sourcing roadmap
    • Manage relationships with key external partners across all global territories
  • Compliance, Reporting & Governance:
    • Support Rainforest Alliance certification, audits, and seal usage compliance
    • Monitor and respond to evolving sustainability legislation across international markets
    • Collate, analyse and manage sustainability data for reports, dashboards and KPIs
  • Engagement & Communication:
    • Raise internal and external awareness of sustainability initiatives in partnership with global and regional communications teams
    • Support volunteering and fundraising initiatives aligned to the values and brand purpose
    • Act as a sustainability subject matter expert across the business
  • Innovation, Learning & Capability Building:
    • Track consumer trends and competitor activity in sustainability
    • Develop and deliver sustainability training and learning assets
    • Support internal teams with sustainability insights, tools, and data requirements

What We’re Looking For:

  • A genuine passion for sustainability and driving positive, tangible change
  • Relevant degree and/or professional experience in sustainability or ESG
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Ability to work across cultures, regions, and functions
  • Experience or strong interest in the consumer goods/FMCG sector
  • Highly organised, adaptable, and comfortable managing multiple priorities
  • A continuous learner with the desire to grow and help others grow
