Salary: GBP39000 - GBP42000 per annum
Are you an experienced Health & Safety professional ready to take ownership of a site and make a real impact? This is a great opportunity to join a well-established food manufacturer where safety, sustainability and continuous improvement are at the heart of everything they do.
You’ll be the key person leading Health & Safety, Environmental compliance, and Sustainability across the site, driving standards, improving systems, and engaging teams at every level.
What you’ll be doing
- Lead all site HSE and sustainability activity, ensuring full legal compliance.
- Investigate incidents, update SOPs and manage audit action plans.
- Deliver safety training and promote a strong safety culture across the site.
- Oversee environmental performance, waste, emissions, water usage and permits.
- Develop site-level sustainability projects that cut energy use and carbon footprint.
- Work closely with operations and the factory leadership team on continuous improvement.
What we’re looking for
- NEBOSH General Certificate (minimum).
- Experience in food manufacturing or FMCG.
- Strong knowledge of UK HSE legislation.
- Confident, proactive communicator who enjoys being out on the shop floor.
