We’re partnering with a dynamic food manufacturing business seeking a QA Manager to lead from the front in delivering exceptional quality and food safety standards. Responsibilities
- Lead all day‑to‑day quality and food safety activities, embedding best practice across GMP, GHP, hygiene, and environmental monitoring.
- Own non‑conformance management processes, driving root cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous improvement.
- Investigate customer complaints, quality incidents, and foreign body issues, ensuring robust resolution and prevention strategies.
- Inspire and develop the Quality team and wider site, building a strong culture of accountability and “right first time” delivery.
- Prepare for and lead internal and external audits, ensuring the site remains audit‑ready and consistently exceeds expectations.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with Production, Hygiene, Warehouse, and NPD to champion quality across the entire operation.
- Monitor cleaning standards and schedules, ensuring compliance and effective validation of hygiene processes.
- Deliver KPI performance, support site projects, and drive cost‑saving and quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Minimum Level 3 Food Hygiene & HACCP with solid experience in food manufacturing quality management.
- Strong understanding of UK retailer standards (e.g. Tesco, M&S, Sainsbury’s) and customer‑facing audit environments.
- Proven leadership ability with experience coaching and developing high‑performing teams.
- Analytical and solutions‑focused mindset, with strong problem‑solving and root cause investigation skills.
- Confident communicator with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Own transport.
