A fast‑paced food manufacturing business is looking for a strong hands‑on Production Team Leader to join the night shift team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys leading from the front, running a busy production line and managing teams in a high‑volume FMCG environment.
You’ll be responsible for a production area with around 30 staff, making sure targets are hit, standards stay high and the shift runs smoothly. This role is ideal for someone who can handle people, solve problems quickly and keep performance on track.
The Role- Running and managing a production line on nights
- Leading teams of permanent and agency staff
- Managing KPIs including output, waste, downtime and efficiency
- Supporting training, performance and staff development
- Dealing with shift issues, investigations and problem solving
- Driving health & safety, food safety and quality standards
- Working closely with engineering and shift management teams
- Helping improve performance and reduce costs across the area
- Experience leading teams within FMCG manufacturing
- Ideally from a food manufacturing background
- Strong communication and people management skills
- Hands‑on leadership approach
- Comfortable working in a fast‑moving production environment
- Someone who can take ownership and make decisions on shift
