Procurement Manager Lincolnshire Hybrid working once settled: 3 days office / 2 days home £50,000 - £54,000 per annum The Opportunity We’re supporting a growing health-focused specialist manufacturer supplying major UK brands and retailers with the appointment of a Procurement Manager.

The business produces health-focused products for leading brands and retailers.

It has grown organically, has strong customer demand and is now investing in the people, processes and leadership needed to support its next stage of growth.

This is a hands-on procurement leadership role, managing a small team and taking ownership of supplier performance, sourcing, negotiation, cost control and procurement improvement.

It would suit someone who enjoys bringing structure, commercial discipline and fresh thinking into a business where procurement can make a visible difference.

Key Responsibilities You’ll lead a procurement team of three and manage a broad supplier base across direct materials, ingredients, packaging, services and indirect spend.

Key areas of focus will include: Leading, supporting and developing the procurement team.

Improving supplier performance around cost, quality, service, OTIF and risk.

Managing supplier negotiations and improving commercial terms.

Delivering cost savings, cost avoidance and total cost of ownership improvements.

Strengthening sourcing, tendering, contracting and supplier review processes.

Supporting supplier diversification and reducing supply chain risk.

Working closely with Supply Chain, Production, Technical, Quality, NPD, Finance and senior stakeholders.

Helping build a more structured, proactive and commercially focused procurement function.

This is not a role where everything is already perfectly polished.

The business has strong foundations, but there is real opportunity to improve how procurement operates.

What We’re Looking For We’re looking for an experienced procurement, purchasing or supply chain professional from a manufacturing environment.

You’ll need to be commercially sharp, practical and confident leading people.

The business needs someone who can manage the detail, influence stakeholders and bring people with them through change.

You’ll likely bring: Manufacturing procurement, purchasing or supply chain experience.

Previous experience managing or developing a small team.

Supplier negotiation and supplier relationship management experience.

Experience managing a broad supplier base.

A track record of delivering cost savings and commercial improvements.

Good Excel and ERP/MRP system capability.

Strong stakeholder management skills.

An understanding of supply chain risk and continuity planning.

Experience in food, FMCG, pharmaceutical, nutraceuticals, vitamins, supplements, ingredients, packaging or another complex manufacturing environment would be especially relevant.

Why Join?

This is a strong opportunity for someone who wants ownership, influence and the chance to improve things.

You’ll be joining a growing manufacturing business with established capability, clear ambition and plenty of opportunity still to unlock.

Procurement has an important role to play in that journey, from cost control and supplier performance through to risk management and better ways of working.

For the right person, this is a chance to lead a team, raise standards and make a genuine impact in a business that is ready for stronger procurement leadership.
