This is a high-profile and demanding role within a well-established and professional organisation with extensive supply routes across Europe and beyond. We’re seeking a commercially astute and inspirational leader, someone who not only excels in driving sales but also has the capability to energise and grow a diverse team within the UK market.

Due to the strategic nature of this position, the ideal candidate must have an in-depth understanding of chilled food and short shelf-life products. First-rate commercial acumen is a given, but what sets the right individual apart is their passion, energy, and ability to manage existing customer relationships while identifying and capitalising on new business opportunities.

The successful candidate will:

  • Maintain and develop existing business objectives
  • Experience developing and implementing a 3–5-year sales growth strategy
  • Identify new opportunities and generate leads across regional and national accounts
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a strong appreciation for the demands of short shelf-life products
  • Management experience of up to 15-20 reports

They will be a strong cultural fit, embodying the values of the business while contributing to both strategic direction and team cohesion. This person will also play a key role in leading change, setting the standard for success, and shaping the future of the commercial function. They must also be capable of building strong internal relationships, inspiring and motivating their sales team, analysing performance development plans (PDPs), and setting clear and challenging objectives to support ongoing growth.
