We are currently recruiting for a well-established client in the North Kent area.

- Salary up to £57,000 depending on experience

Due to continued growth and investment into their engineering department, we are partnering with this thriving business to recruit talented individuals who want to grow and develop a career in a business that invests in their people.
Responsibilities of the role:
- Repairs to all breakdown within the factory
- Guidance of maintenance staff on repairs on breakdowns and of planned maintenance
- Ensure maintenance schedule for all machinery and equipment are up to date
- Ensure food grade/food safe materials are used in construction and maintenance of equipment, this also includes the use of food safe lubricants
- Conduct daily inspection of site machinery and equipment; any damage or missing parts is reported to Engineering manager and repaired/replaced at the soonest possible time
- Ensure equipment hand back procedure is adhered to following any repairs or maintenance work
- Conduct inspection on completed tasks by the team and sign off
- Record keeping of all repairs and maintenance work
- Attend to daily Production meetings, highlight general issues in the factory and possible solutions
- Responsible for controlling, monitoring and assessing engineering parts and stock; report to your line manager of any parts that are likely to run out
- Completion of daily shift report and communicated to Engineering manager
