The Role
This is a senior HR leadership position responsible for shaping and delivering the people agenda across a nationwide bars estate. Reporting to the International HR Director, you will be responsible for leading and developing HR Operations & Training Partners while partnering closely with senior operational stakeholders.
The role blends hands‑on operational HR delivery with broader strategic responsibility, including leadership development, succession planning, performance management, learning and organisational development. Regular travel across UK sites is a core part of the role.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach and develop HR Operations & Training Partners across regional areas.
- Create a consistent, high‑quality and commercially effective HR partnering model.
- Act as senior escalation point for complex ER and operational people matters.
- Advise, challenge and support senior stakeholders to align people plans with commercial priorities.
- Coach managers on ER, performance, engagement and effective team leadership.
- Ensure consistent application of HR policies, processes and standards across all sites.
- Lead and contribute to strategic people projects (performance management, L&D, HR systems, OD initiatives).
- Drive succession planning and workforce planning to strengthen future leadership capability.
- Identify people trends, risks and opportunities to improve engagement and operational effectiveness.
- Support the delivery and embedding of appraisal and performance processes.
- Collaborate with colleagues across the wider UK and international People function.
- Step into operational HR partnering where needed to maintain continuity of service.
What You Will Receive in Return
A highly visible HR leadership role within a sizeable, multi‑site hospitality organisation. You will influence both day‑to‑day employee experience and long‑term people strategy, with significant scope to develop HR capability, partner with senior leaders and lead strategic initiatives across performance, succession, learning and organisational development.
You will also gain exposure to a wider international HR network and work within an environment that values collaboration, professional development and building strong workplace cultures.
