About the Role

We are supporting an international meat exporter to appoint a UK Sales Manager to support the growth of its UK operation. This is a commercially focused role requiring strong experience within the meat sector - ideally red meat. You will be responsible for managing existing customers while driving new business growth across wholesale, retail, foodservice, pet food manufacturing, and ecommerce channels. You will act as the key commercial contact for the UK region, working closely with international stakeholders while ensuring strong collaboration internally across logistics and finance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow relationships with existing UK customers
  • Identify and secure new customers across wholesale, retail, foodservice, pet food and ecommerce channels
  • Develop and execute UK sales strategies aligned with group direction
  • Identify opportunities for new product development in line with business strategy
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and pricing dynamics within the meat sector
  • Prepare and negotiate commercial agreements
  • Provide regular reporting on sales performance and market insight
  • Represent the business at trade events and industry meetings
  • Ensure logistics and finance functions support commercial delivery

What You’ll Bring
