Do you have experience of designing, optimising, and troubleshooting treatment systems to ensure water is cleaned to environmental standards? Come and join Henderson Brown Contract Division.
Responsibilities
- System Design & Modelling - Develop process flow diagrams (PFDs), plant layouts, and hydraulic models for new or upgraded wastewater treatment plants.
- Optimisation & Troubleshooting - Analyse underperforming plants, diagnose issues, and implement corrective actions to improve effluent quality, reduce energy consumption, and manage chemical usage.
- Technology Selection - Evaluate and implement advanced treatment technologies (e.g., membrane bioreactors, sludge management).
- Compliance & Safety - Ensure all processes meet strict environmental regulations and safety standards before discharging treated water.
- Collaboration & Project Management - Work with civil, mechanical, and electrical engineers to manage infrastructure projects, from conceptual design to construction and commissioning.
Requirements
- Bachelor or Master's degree in Engineering (Process or Chemical).
- At least 3 years' experience in the applicable Engineering dept.
- Knowledge of process related standards.
- Experience in process simulations and calculation.
- Working knowledge of process engineering software packages.
- AutoCad skills.
- Familiarity with EHS regulations.
- Analytical thinker with strong interpersonal attitude.
- Experience in HAZOP/SIL meetings.
