We are proud to be recruiting for a well-renowned FMCG Manufacturer for a Maintenance Engineer to provide electrical and mechanical support for the site.
Location - Sunderland
Salary - up to £53k per annum
Shift Pattern - Alternating Shifts (Candidates must be flexible to work both alternations):
- 3-Shift Rotation: 7:00am - 3:00pm
- 3:00pm - 11:00pm
- 11:00pm - 7:00am
- 2-Shift (Days & Nights): 7:00am - 7:00pm
- 7:00pm - 7:00am
Responsibilities:
- Repair various manufacturing equipment used for the production of FMCG products
- Carry out PPM's and Reactive maintenance
- Attending to machinery breakdowns
- Fault finding equipment - electrical and mechanical machinery
Requirements:
- Experience in a similar role such as multi-skilled maintenance engineer, shift engineer, shift technician, engineering technician, maintenance technician, or electrical maintenance engineer
- Possess formal Engineering qualifications, such as an Level 3/NVQ/BTEC in Engineering
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
- Experience of using CMMS or EAM systems
- Proven experience in driving through continuous improvement activities
