Are you an experienced Shift Manager looking to join a successful food manufacturer where you can genuinely make a difference?

We're recruiting for a market-leading manufacturer supplying many of the UK's biggest retailers and brands.

This is an opportunity to take ownership of a busy production shift, lead a large team and play a key role in driving performance, safety and continuous improvement.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll manage Production Team Leaders and oversee a team of around 55 Operatives and Technicians.

You'll be responsible for delivering production targets, developing your people and ensuring the highest standards of food safety, quality and operational performance.

What you'll be doing

Leading and developing Production Team Leaders and shift teams.

Delivering production plans safely, on time and to quality standards.

Driving continuous improvement and reducing waste.

Managing labour, productivity and shift performance.

Coaching, developing and motivating your team.

Managing performance, attendance and people development.

Working closely with Engineering, Planning, Technical and Logistics.

Maintaining excellent Health & Safety and Food Safety standards.

What we're looking for

Previous Shift Management experience within food manufacturing, FMCG or a fast-paced production environment.

Experience leading Team Leaders and large operational teams.

Strong people management and leadership skills.

Knowledge of Health & Safety, Quality and Food Safety.

Experience improving performance, efficiency or productivity.

A confident decision maker who enjoys developing people.

Desirable

IOSH or NEBOSH. HACCP or Food Safety qualifications. Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement experience. Experience within an automated manufacturing environment.

Salary of £50,000 - £55,000 10% Annual Bonus Permanent, full-time position. 4 on - 4 0ff days - 6am - 6pm Excellent long-term career development opportunities.
