This is an exciting opportunity for a Planning Coordinator to join an impressive Food Manufacturing business based in Northamptonshire. Reporting into the Group Planning Coordinator, this role is responsible for the allocation of daily orders across production sites whilst taking into account production site capabilities, airfreight, customer collection/despatch timings.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Collate orders and allocate to sites using site planners and customer specific stock sheets.
- Advising production sites of final figures.
- Working collaboratively with production teams where volumes need to be shared across multiple sites.
- Advise production sites on any amendments required to airfreight for immediate use and in the short term.
- Address and problem solve issues affecting production and customer orders.
- To escalate unresolved issues to Line manager and relevant stakeholders, providing detailed report on situation, with plan to solve issue.
- To communicate fully and efficiently with all customers and colleagues, both within the UK and internationally, on supply chain issues.
- To forecast customer needs for the short term, using both customer data and own judgement.
- To advise on airspace required to transport goods.
Ideal Candidate
- Experience in a Planning Coordinator, Admin or similar role within a food manufacturing company.
- Good Excel systems knowledge.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills to communicate with your team, customers and suppliers.
- Strong problem solving skills and proactive in approach.
