Our client is a leading food business who supply to a variety of the major retailers. As they continue to expand and grow their presence in the marketplace they are now seeking a driven and ambitious Packaging Developer to join their business.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for a role in an expanding area of food manufacturing. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Create and develop innovative packaging materials for both new and existing products, ensuring they meet project briefs and business standards.
Oversee the entire artwork process, liaising with customers and suppliers to ensure seamless and accurate execution.
Act as the primary point of contact for customer packaging inquiries and sample requests, providing exceptional support and solutions.
Build and maintain strong relationships with external suppliers, ensuring best practices and competitive pricing for packaging materials.
Maintain accurate and timely retailer online data information related to packaging, ensuring compliance and up-to-date records.
Conduct thorough trials and tests on all new packaging before production, ensuring high-quality and timely implementation.
Stay updated on packaging innovations and sustainability trends, ensuring compliance with new packaging legislation and integrating best practices.
Manage and update the company MRP bills of material for finished goods, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in the system.
Assist the Commercial and NPD teams with various packaging-related projects and administrative tasks, contributing to overall business goals.
Attend webinars, conferences, and training courses to stay at the forefront of packaging developments and industry standards
About you:
Food manufacturing experience is required
Confident in working with internal and external stakeholders
