A leading name in the food and agriculture sector is looking for a hands-on Seed Operations Manager to lead a busy seed potato site in Scotland. You\’ll manage the full operation – from seed supply and grower coordination to grading, logistics and dispatch – ensuring around 32,000 tonnes of seed moves smoothly each year.

What You\’ll Do

Oversee seed intake, grading, packaging, and dispatch

Manage stock control, logistics and operational planning

Build strong relationships with growers and suppliers

Lead and develop a small site team

Work closely with agri and commercial teams to match seed supply to factory demand

Take full accountability for site operations during peak periods

What You\’ll Need

Experience in fresh produce (e.g. potatoes, root veg, fruit)

Strong knowledge of agricultural supply chains

Organised and practical – a doer, not a clipboard manager

Excellent communication and people skills

Strong grasp of systems and Excel

Flexibility to work longer hours during peak (esp. Aug-Sep)
