Play a Key Role in Bringing Compliant, Credible Products to Market. Our client is a fast‑growing, multi‑brand supplement business. We are looking for a Packaging & Regulatory Coordinator to join the team. In this pivotal role, you'll ensure every product label, claim, artwork, and communication meets the highest standards of UK food law, EFSA guidance, and supplement‑specific regulations.
From early product concepts to final artwork sign‑off, you'll be the guardian of accuracy, legality, and clarity - enabling the brands to innovate at speed while staying fully compliant. This role is ideal for someone experienced in food labelling, regulatory affairs, technical compliance, or quality documentation within FMCG, supplements, or functional foods.
What You'll Do
- Regulatory & Compliance Ownership
- Ensure all product packaging, labels, and artwork meet UK food legislation, EFSA rules, and supplement regulations.
- Review and approve all product claims, working with external regulatory partners.
- Keep ahead of regulatory changes and advise the business on their impact.
- Validate ingredient legality, permitted levels, allergen declarations, and nutritional data.
- Label & Artwork Management
- Own the full artwork approval process from first draft to print‑ready.
- Collaborate with external design agencies to ensure compliance and clarity.
- Manage artwork libraries, version control, and documentation (with admin support).
- Ensure all mandatory warnings, statements, and declarations are correctly applied.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work with NPD on compliant formulations, ingredient choices, and claims.
- Support Brand & Marketing with accurate product copy and campaign messaging.
- Partner with the Project Executive to ensure smooth approvals and documentation flow.
- Liaise with suppliers to gather certifications, specifications, and regulatory documents.
- Documentation & Technical Support
- Maintain specs, QUID calculations, nutritional tables, and compliance files.
- Ensure all SKUs have full, accurate documentation for audits and retailer onboarding.
- Assist with retailer submissions, product information forms, and compliance questionnaires.
- Manage internal regulatory databases and compliance trackers.
