We’re working with a leading fire safety consultancy that specialises in delivering expert risk assessments and tailored fire safety solutions. They’re currently looking to expand their team with a qualified Fire Risk Assessor who holds third-party accreditation.
About the Role
In this position, you’ll carry out fire risk assessments across a range of property types including communal areas, residential buildings, and HMOs. You’ll also provide consultancy services such as evacuation planning, helping clients maintain full compliance and safety. There’s also potential to earn commission by recommending fire safety products like extinguishers and equipment.
Key Duties
- Perform thorough fire risk assessments in residential, communal, and HMO environments.
- Deliver clear, compliant reports aligned with current fire safety regulations.
- Advise clients on evacuation strategies and general fire safety practices.
- Build strong relationships with clients and identify opportunities to suggest fire safety solutions.
- Keep up to date with fire safety legislation, standards, and industry developments.
Candidate Profile
- Must hold third-party accreditation as a Fire Risk Assessor.
- Demonstrated experience in residential and HMO fire risk assessments.
- Solid understanding of fire safety laws and compliance.
- Confident in providing consultancy services, including evacuation planning.
- Strong communication and report-writing abilities.
- Self-driven and capable of managing your own schedule.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the M40 corridor, M25 West, Oxford and Bristol areas.
