Are you a hands-on Health & Safety professional who enjoys being out on the factory floor rather than sat behind a desk? We're recruiting for an experienced Health & Safety Manager to join a well-established food manufacturing business in Lincolnshire. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of the site's Health & Safety function, work closely with senior leadership and help drive a positive safety culture across the business. This isn't just a compliance role. We're looking for someone who can build relationships, challenge where needed, and help make Health & Safety part of everyday working life.
The Role
- Lead all Health & Safety activities across the manufacturing site.
- Ensure the business remains compliant with Health & Safety legislation.
- Carry out risk assessments and site inspections.
- Investigate accidents and near misses.
- Complete internal audits and ensure actions are followed through.
- Review and improve Health & Safety procedures.
- Deliver Health & Safety training and support employee development.
- Work closely with managers across all departments.
- Manage and support a Training Coordinator.
- Promote a strong Health & Safety culture throughout the business.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in a Health & Safety Manager role.
- Manufacturing experience is essential.
- Food manufacturing experience would be highly advantageous.
- NEBOSH qualification or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of Health & Safety legislation.
