We are currently seeking an individual with maintenance skills to join a renowned FMCG company near Sittingbourne, Kent. This is a 60/40 Mechanical bias role, where you will be supported by additional maintenance engineers in the team.
Responsibilities:- Efficiently repair various production machinery using both reactive and preventative maintenance techniques, on food packing machinery
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with the production team to optimise equipment performance and minimise downtime.
- Keep detailed records of maintenance activities and provide reports as needed.
- Previous experience in the FMCG sector.
- Experience within a similar role such as maintenance engineer, engineering technician, shift engineer, or a fitter.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Standard Pension 3% - 5%
- 20 days plus bank holidays
- Paid sick leave
- Free onsite parking
